Donations can be brought to the shop during shop hours. Or arrange a more convenient time with us!
Money - Cash, checks & grants welcome! Checks can be made payable to "Virginia Organizing" with "Community Bikes" in the me. Or donate online through VO, and specify that the donation is for Community Bikes.
Bikes - We take bikes and bike parts for reusing and recycling. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept department-store caliber bikes such as Huffy, Mongoose, Quasar, etc. We have neither the will nor space to stock dangerous and mechanically inferior toys. We recommend you strip them and recycle these items.
Tools - Floor pumps, metric combo wrenches, rags, bike specific tools...
Supplies - We're in need of pens, permanent markers, organizational draw systems...
Note: Tax-deductible contributions should be made out to the Virginia Organizing. VO is officially registered with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, P.O. Box 1163, Richmond, VA 23209. You can write to this Department for all relevant financial statements and procedures regarding the solicitation of contributions. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
