DONATE: Money
We request a $5 donation for every shop use. We pay over $800 a month on rent, utilities, and supplies alone.
As a non-profit, all of the money that we raise stays in the shop to benefit the local cycling community. If you would like to support our endeavor to make cycling accessible in Charlottesville, please consider making a donation. At the shop we can accept cash & checks made out to "VOP/Community Bikes." If you'd like to donate with a credit card, please do so here and specify Community Bikes!
In return for your donations, we can continue to offer our services to the area. Additionally, you can support us monetarily throgh purchasing merchandise.
Note: Tax-deductible contributions should be made out to the Virginia Organizing Project. VOP is officially registered with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, P.O. Box 1163, Richmond, VA 23209. You can write to this Department for all relevant financial statements and procedures regarding the solicitation of contributions. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

- Office Supplies
If you have any of these you would like to donate (tax deductible), please bring them by during open hours.
*When considering donating a bicycle, please consider the quality of the bicycle in question. We have limited space and can no longer accept "junk bikes" that were originally from department stores (Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc). We recommend that you strip the rubber and plastic off of these bicycles and recycle the metal.
